Fundraising and donations
Mandisa Foundation Trust relies on fundraising and donations to support and run projects. As volunteers, we also contribute through subscriptions in cash or kind. All our efforts are directed at ensuring that our beneficiaries’ basic needs are met. We donate food, clothes and other essentials to the less privileged individuals and institutions including orphanages and homes in our communities. We provide resources and tools that are not readily available to the disadvantaged.
As Mandisa Foundation Trust, we believe in empowering our beneficiaries such that they can sustain themselves. As such, we invest part of our time in mentoring and sharing useful information with the disadvantaged every time we visit. We also educate them on the importance of personal hygiene and health. Our mentorship programs include but are not limited to the following;
Career guidance – we conscientize our target groups about the importance of education and help them understand various career paths to enable them to make informed career decisions.
Entrepreneurship – we teach our beneficiaries how to establish and run profitable projects.
A healthy mind cannot be limited. We believe that mental strength is where an individual’s true power lies. It is for this reason that we incorporate the following campaigns in our empowerment strategies;
Depress depression – we acknowledge that life is challenging and affects people in different ways. Many Africans still do not understand what depression is and its impact. This campaign is aimed at helping people understand depression so that they will know how to identify it and get the required attention to manage it.
Gender Based Violence – we conscientise about gender violence and its physical and psychological effects.
We extend our gratitude to the unwavering support of our silent partners who help whenever they can, with whatever they have. Their contributions enhance food security and the welfare of the communities we serve.
